It is not unprecidented for someone to spend more for use of a machine than it
cost to buy it. These ccheap printers come to mind. Also game machines. You
spend almost as much for a cartridge for a printer than you do on the printer
itself. A game machine is $150 (?) and good games can be $80. So it doesn't
take long to pay more for software than you did for the base model.
