No, I really do mean Mini-Din-3. Apple's LocalTalk boxes have a
Mini-Din-8 connector to the serial port (or DE-9 for the ones used on
older Mac models), and the LocalTalk cables themselves use Mini-Din-3
connectors. (The pins are located at 90, 180 and 270 degrees in
relation to the locating notch.) The cable only uses two wires: the pin
opposite the locating notch is not used.
