I found numerous places to patch. Some of the patches worked to allow the date
entry, or to skip over it. The trouble was that the data was not written to
disk properly. It mysteriously changed to another date. We never did ask for
disassembly of the write-to-disk routine, because I felt that we had already
imposed enough on the disassembler's good will.
If all you want is to change the 19 to a 20, that is very simple. You will
still be stuck with years between 68 and 99.
Naturally, we also tried things like skipping over 00 and allowing 01, or
having no date at all.
