Aside from the obvious fact that no one has any right at all to upload my work
without permission, the pirate uploaded older versions of programs. For
example, he uploaded version 1.0. I would have uploaded version 2.8 or 5.1. He
uploaded it in a format (complete disks) that I would not have chosen (I would
have uploaded specific applications, in versions that are current and correct).
There are other issues, but I won't go into them here. How could you think that
someone else has a right to distribute work that the owner has not yet
released?

No one has the right to distribute my work except me. I will distribute it as I
choose. Right now, that does not involve using 'the web.'  I do not feel it is
any great loss to anyone. No one has complained. 

I still answer questions in forums, if I know the answer. That's more than the
average user does around here.
