Hmmnnn... wonder what platform he programs for now? I don't think there is
one that has less piracy than the Apple II. I think it more likely that
these programmers saw their business evaporating and blamed it on "piracy."
The reality is that the Apple II was no longer a mainstream platform, so
demand for their work imploded. You don't have to be Freud to see that they
can't handle this matter-of-fact reality.
All this shrieking and gnashing of teeth about "piracy" is denial. These
people can't handle the fact that the world has passed them by.
