Ed, thank you very much. I made the disk and, just as you said, I was able
to access my partitions and install 6.01. But, I'm still stuck because it
won't allow me (at least as far as I can tell) to select my 6.01 partition
as the start-up device. In the control panels it won't allow it - it does
not have the scanning option - and when I try to do it "manually" by going
into the system and opening Start, or using the launcher, it won't allow me
to select the partition because it's write protected. I'm really stumped -
how do people install 6.01 on a partition and then by able to select it as
the start-up device? All I am able to do is start up from the SCSI Boot disk
I made. Is there a way to disable write protection on the 6.01 partition to
allow it to be selected? Is that what my problem is?
