Welcome, Chris.

Sean is right, the second step for your IIgs is to expand with more
RAM, a mass-storage solution and, last but not least, depending on how
your consider your IIgs (a 16-bit system or a super 8-bit one)
acquiring an accelerator card is a nice addition.

Regarding software, you can find them on eBay or on some other
archiving sites. Moving from the web to the IIgs can be eased with the
really powerful ADTPro by David Schmidt (and others)
