Yes,

And this is because *The Mac is acting as the file server to the GS*, it
can't work vice-versa. And before System 7.0 for the Mac came out, it took
a whole different AppleShare setup to do.

Personally, I haven't found anything else that works on my computers. (I'm
sure Null modem would, but my modem is in another GS in a different
location). Any time I try a 3.5" disk-to-disk swap from a GS to a Mac,
formatted PRODOS or HFS, the GS always tells me "the disk may be physically
damaged" when I try to copy something. When I create disk images to use
with Bernie on the GS, I have to AppleTalk 'em over to the Mac or they get
corrupted. I thought the HFS patch to the GS's HFS-FST in System 6.0.1
would do the trick, but they still don't like each other. I've tried with
various Macs and several 800K drives, and no luck.

Anybody else have problems with disk transfers to and from?
