D'oh! Sorry about my last post. I thought it was an intermittent write
problem on one of the two drives you said you have. You are not able to init
from either drive?. If you remove one of the drives from the card are you still
able to boot on that single drive (make sure it is in the Drive1 connector)? If
so, will it init? If not, put the other drive on alone (again, on the Drive 1
connector) and try to boot and init. If that boots but fails to init, than it
sounds like either both drives are bad (I doubt it) or the Disk][ controller
card in the slot is bad. Note, be careful when attaching the Disk ][ drives to
the controller card so you *don't* put the connector offset a pin or two since
the connector is not keyed. I did that many moons ago (1982 ish) and fried the
analog controller card in the drive).
