No. The 800K drive can read 400K disks from the earlier Mac models, and 800K
Apple II disks with the proper software, but it is completely incompatible
with any PC floppy disks. Nor can any PC disk read 800K Mac/A2 floppies.
However, earlier Macs with 1.44 meg SuperDrives can read all those formats,
with the proper OS or software. A Classic, Classic II, SE/30, or SE FDHD is
a handy accessory for your Apple II.
