There is a CP/M emulator for the PC, I suppose it's easier to emulate an Intel
8080, or the Intel derived Z-80 on the X86 platform. As Paul mentioned, there are a
host of CP/M cards for the II, the best is the PCPI card - 6 mhz Z-80, on board 64K
of RAM, at one time it was the fastest CP/M computer you could buy. I'm glad I have
one (or is that two?)

It would be interesting to see a PL/1 on the 65816, but who would write it, and who
would use it? (Other than Hank?)
