It can read an 800k ProDOS disk or a 1.4 MB ProDOS disk.  The Mac needs to be
in the 68k series or the early PPC models for best read results and for the Mac
to recognise it on it's desktop.

With a Mac PPC and either B2TR or Gus!  (IIgs emulators)  you can read or
format or run the disk contents - i.e. programs.
