...And you do have the jumpers in place on the memory card, so the whole
1.25Mb shows up, right?  Just checking.

Just for grins, have you tried a shift-boot?  To get 6.0.1 to work on a
1.25Mb GS you might have to strip it down a little.  To also use AppleTalk
you have to strip it down even more.

Hmmm...Assuming that I'm reading the right thing, it says that error
numbers greater than $0100 are specific to the tool sets, so that would be
Error $01 from Tool $02...

Guess what:  It says here in the toolbox reference that Tool $02 is the
Memory Manager and Error $01 is "Unable to allocate block."  Looks like
GS/OS is running out of memory.  Try a shift-boot, and start clearing out
any unneeded INITs and DAs.
