Deuteronomy 18:17-20  The LORD said to me: "What they say is good.  I
will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers;
I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I
command him.  If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet
speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.  But a prophet
who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded him to
say, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, must be put
to death."
 
2 Timothy 3:16  All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for
teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
 
2 Peter 1:20-21  Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of
Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation.  For
prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from
God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
 
Revelation 22:18-19  I warn everyone who hears the words of the
prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add
to him the plagues described in this book.  And if anyone takes words
away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his
share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described
in this book.

Perhaps those parts of the Bible you have read never says these
things, but you should really read ALL of the Bible before you claim
it "never says" certain things, shouldn't you?
