It would take a ceratin amount of salesmanship, and selling when the
time is right (like when no one else has one up on ebay), but I think I
could get two billies for this machine once I get it nice. The
difference between people like us -- those who read and post to this
group -- and those who want to BUY nostalgia is this: The joy for us is
to find a gem in the rough and polish it, while the joy for them is
getting a computer that looks like it did in 1979 so they can somehow
mystically go back in time and pretend they're 14 again.

Once I aquire the machines and make them work, I don't want them anymore
(nor would my wife LET me keep a whole museum, as I at one time wanted
to do). I already have my trusty old IIgs, so computing-wise, I don't
NEED a lesser II.

Sure, let's swap some stuff.
