No luck with ADT of ADTgs

I finally got ADTgs to transfer its file to
my GS, and I got it running. As soon as
I booted the disk that it created, I only
got garbage. When I tried to send the disk
again, now ADTgs scrolls diagonally, and
I still get garbage on the disk. I have the
baud rate set correctly, also the parity=n
and stop bits=1.

I gave up on ADTgs, and tried ADT.
I couldn't get it to work at all on the IIGS,
I just keep getting error writing to com1
on the pc side. I tried this again with
an Apple IIe, with the super serial
card already installed. As soon as
I  dropped the baud rate to 300, using
dip switches, it worked fine, transferred
much of the file, and then it hangs
on the pc side.
