Recently I received some 3.5" Apple II disks that appear to be a hard
drive backup set. They are labelled "/HD1 BU.01", "/HD1 BU.02", ..., "/
HD1 BU.25"
I looked at the first volume on my IIGS. It's a ProDOS volume named "/
BU.01". The disk directory is blank, and all blocks are marked used.
I tried restoring it with Salvation and it asked for the catalog disk.
I tried the first and last disks of the set, but neither one satisfied
it. There are no disks in the ones I have that are labelled as a
backup catalog disk.
I then tried the Apple backup utility on the SCSI Card utilities disk
and it didn't recognize it as a backup disk.
Anybody know which Apple II backup program made these and is there any
chance of restoring this backup set to a hard drive?
Thanks,
Dave
