I just found a compatability issue with the RamWorks III and PRODRIVE
program which I am curious about...
I have two versions of the PRODRIVE program:
1. one is called PRODRIVE, which gives you a RAM disk the size of the
RAM card minus 64K,
2. the other called PRODRIVE.ALL, gives you a RAM disk the full size of
the RAM card.
The program PRODRIVE works with all versions including 512K, 768K and 1MB
Ramworks III.
The program PRODRIVE.ALL does not work with a fully populated 1Mb RamWorks
III card, but does on 512K and 768K populated versions. This program only
sees the 64K extended memory on the card when the card has 1Mb fitted.
Questions:
1. Is there another version of the PRODRIVE.ALL, or is this a known
incompatability issue.
2. Anyone with a larger RamWorks card, like 1.5 - 3Mb what's the
compatability with PRODRIVE /or PRODRIVE.ALL there ?
BTW: the RamWorks III manual only discusses the PRODRIVE version of the
program, whereas the RamWorks-basic (512K) manual discusses both.
not that I need extra RAM disk space, only curious.
