<< Apple //c didn't want to switch on , and just displayed white boxes. >> The only time I've had anything similiar was the time that someone gave me an old X4 ZipChip that they had never gotten to work. The X4 model had a LOT of bad batches and this was one of them. Just a lot of long white and black rectangles on the screeen. Jay Edwards
