Hi,
I am trying to get ADT version 1.22 working with my IIc. I have followed
the instructions in the Readme file, ie. entered "IN#2" at the BASIC
prompt and set the speed to 300 baud. But when I try and send the dump
across from my PC (using any terminal program), the Apple just sits there
- I get the feeling nothing is going across.
Maybe the problem is with my cable? I am using an ImageWriter (I) cable,
the DIN 5 socket plugged into my IIc's serial port, and the D25 end
plugged into a null modem cable, which in turn goes into my PC's serial
port. Am I doing something wrong here? Should I not be using the null
modem cable at all? I'm confused... and would really appreciate any help.
I have read the FAQs by the way. I am pretty computer-savvy but am not too
confident about soldering my own cable.
Thanks in advance, and Happy New Year to everyone!
Cheers,
Mike
