Worth a try.  I'll see if I have a ][e-friendly ProDOS-friendly block copy
program around here someplace (LOTS of DOS 3.3 stuff, but that won't work
with the Vulcan...) 

The problem seems to be related to an attempt to write to a directory with
a really long pathname, something like 
/RAVEN/COASTER/REPORTS/R1996/VACATION/ADVENTUREWORLD.  That trashed
something, and made it so that I couldn't get to one of the directories on
the disk at all.  I'll see what I can do, and report back.
