I know the problem, but not the fix. Seems to be a slight incompatability
between the //e disk controller ROMs (which is essentially the same as
the old Disk ][ ROM) and the "newer" Smartport style ROMs in the //c, IIgs.

Unfortunately for the //c, there's no fix. But for a IIgs, you can get around
the problem by installing a 5.25" controller card in slot 6, plugging the 5.25"
into it and setting the control panel to Your Card in slot 6.
