Ahh, Knights of Legend. I've still got my copy. Four double-sided disks. A
master disk and three Ashtalarea disks. Were there ever any other regions
released for it? Oh, then you needed a character disk too. It's still one of
my favourite games. Apart from the disk swapping the biggest problem was
moving around during combat: you had to decide what to do for each of your
six characters i.e. #1 walk that way, #2 walk that way etc. Fine in a normal
encounter but in the quests you might have to spend 5 minutes getting
anywhere, only to find you had gone the wrong way and had to go back!

P.S. anyone who's still running the game on a real Apple II, the disk access
is block-based rather than file-based. You can do a block copy of the 5.25"
disks to any ProDOS comapatible disk drive. I used to run it with one 3.5"
drive (with a copy of the master disk in it) and one 5.25" drive (used for
swapping the other disks).
