We have a "once every couple of years" job we run as an Appleworks
Database job...printing continuous form labels.
The labels are the ubiquitous 15/16" * 3" type spaced 1" apart on the
carrier strip. I've got the report format set for 6 lines per inch and
an 11 inch page length. The report setup has 6 lines per record. Printer
is an FX-80.
When I print the labels everything lines up fine, and all the records
print, but every tenth label is a blank, like the printer is doing a
form feed and going to the top of the "next page".
Other than wasting a few labels, this isn't a big problem, but I wonder
what's causing it.
I tried setting the page length to 22" thinking this might waste
onlyhalf as many labels, but after printing about 20 labels (sorry, I
forgot exactly how many) the printing went out of registration, so I
aborted the job.
Any ideas guys? email copies of responses appreciated, my ISP's news
server gets flaky at times..
