Can't initialize Disk
Hey folks,
I'm trying to get an older Apple II up and running now. It came with an
old DuoDisk which seems to work fine. I booted up from the "Apple
Presents the IIe- Getting Down to BASIC" disk. All fine. I quit from the
BASIC tutorial and it gave me a prompt.
So, I wrote a little "Hello" program in BASIC, which ran fine, and
tried to initialize a Double Density Radio Shack disk (Pre-formatted to
MS-DOS) by typing the standard INIT HELLO. It gave me a syntax error. I
tried it a few more times, along with some variations. It still gives me
a syntax error.
Am I doing something wrong? I think I did the exact same thing the last
time I initialized a 5.35" disk on a IIe.
Thanks,
