For those of us with out accelerator cards in our //gs computers, a card
could be designed with the CPU and RAM and decode logic and a cable to plug
it into the motherboard CPU socket. The banks $80..$DF could be decoded before
the FPI/CYI even sees the address. This would be made slightly more complex
by the need to refresh the RAM but it would certainly be possible (if not
economically viable as I imagine anyone who would want to do this would also
want a faster clock speed than 2.6MHz - I guess a brand new accellerator
card could be designed with on board RAM...)
