     It seems to. Trying to push you around was pretty dumb. Very likely, an
open debate would end up in a vote along Mac and A2 lines; and, since there
are probably more Mac members than A2 members, you would lose.

     You might well win some legal confrontation; but, if the majority of
club members favor booting out A2 users and continuing to stuff the head
turkeys, your efforts to save the Mac + A2 club seem doomed.

     As you said in an earlier post, a separate Apple II-only usergroup could
certainly find a place to meet for low or no cost. Club news can be posted on
a web site and/or a forum. (If you like you can be a moderator for II
Computing chat room meetings on Delphi-- open or club members only.)  Plus
your usergroup would be listed in the FAQs, could obtain the official right
to distribute Apple's Apple II software from Apple, and otherwise benefit
from being on its own.

     Don't know. One thing: the ACLU guys might think that being accused of
