Every Apple II emulator I've tried (ApplePC, Apple II Oasis, XGS32,
AppleWin) fails to emulate the keyboard properly. In my opinion the PC's
Backspace key should be emulated as the Apple II's delete key. It's in the
same place, and in most word processors and applications it plays the same
purpose.
The only time where it's useful to have it pass as the left-arrow is in
Basic. And even then it's not necessary because I'm accustomed to reaching
for the left-arrow instead of the Delete key on an Apple when I'm in Basic.
But for most programs (GS-OS, Appleworks, and many others) it would be much
more useful to have it pass CHR$(127).
