Yeah, I'm sure the emulator is quicker, etc. but I enjoy using the real
thing, at least for now. I like the feeling of working on the actual vintage
hardware. Maybe I'll move to the emulator later on.

Compared to my IIe, the IIgs is more efficient to work with, and it makes
converting SHK files to useable 5.25" floppies a lot easier. Also, I
couldn't get the HD to boot on my IIe but it boots up just fine on the IIgs,
and I like that. Working from the HD is so much easier for me. I don't mind
if the IIgs is slower than my 605, or my main PC, and I'm happy with how
well it performs what I need it to do.
I still like the "old" look of my IIe better. The IIgs just looks to much
like a Mac to get me excited in a "vintage collector" way.
