Woops!! I was thinking IIgs System 6 for the time.
On a IIe with ProSel 8 it runs under a second and faster rebooting
If I recall correctly, Davex is only a few k so it should boot faster yet
A lot depends on what your used to.  I use a Rev C on my II+ and find
it's lack of speed very very noticable after the Ramfast on my IIe.

Justifying computer equipment is as easy to justify as most non-essential
activities.  Camping, skiing, fishing, boats, motorcycles and so forth.
Cablevision now that's something I haven't figured out yet.
