Re: Snivelling Turlettes

Hiya, Jake..

 *>Dude, a humble suggestion.

I'm open. :)

*>You spend an awful lot of time bitching on here about copyright
 *>violations.

Sure. That and taunt folks who have harmed folks I've admired and liked.

*>You could save all that time by sending out one note, instead of
*>pages and pages of venom, to the copyright holder letting them know
 *>that such-and-such a site violates their copyright.

And you think I haven't? Why do you think that certain ISP's have recognized
their positions when confronted with the deed? Believe me, they want to avoid
legal actions, contrary to the tales that RosyWanker spews. That's why ISP's
tend to snuff accounts when their attention is drawn to those users.

*>If they choose to pursue the offender, well and good, justice is
 *>served.

Fortunately, a simple letter to the ISP appears to satisfy most copyright owners.
No need to enrich lawyers more than needed, Hmmm?

*>If they don't, then cui malo?

The folks that are hurt are the creators of these works. I side with them.
Parasites may outnumber them, but if I must go to battle, I'll fight for those
folks who worked for their profit, not those who profit from stealing.

*>You seem to be making a big deal (and a fool out of yourself in
*>public) out of an issue which seems to have a simple resolution.

Apparently, your simple resolution is to "let folks rip others off".

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Did I state that too baldly to suit you?

Do you wonder why I care little for the opinion of folks like you? If you think
I'm making a fool out of myself, then I count that as further evidence that I'm
on the right track. ;)
