Not sure. According to the Basilisk II home page (at
http://www.uni-mainz.de/~bauec002/B2Main.html ) the emulator supports only
1.44MB diskettes. That could be a problem when transferring the downloaded file
via your Mac's 800k drive.

The best way to transfer files downloaded to a PC is via a NULL modem
connection to the IIgs. This also lets you use IIgs stuff (like 3.5" and 5.25"
disks as well as file collections) in plain shrinkit files.

A NULL modem connection requires hardly any hardware-- just a modem cable
from the IIgs modem serial port connected to a NULL modem adaptor connected to
a modem cable from a PC COM port. For information about setting up and doing
NULL modem transfers, see http://home.swbell.net/rubywand/Csa2T1TCOM.html .

The IIgs can boot several kinds of disks and a number of OS's. Some
popular choices include DOS 3.3 5.25" disks, ProDOS 5.25" disks, ProDOS 3.5"
disks, and GS System 3.5" disks. (Diskettes used should be double density --
DD-- types.) It can also boot ProDOS or GS System from hard disk.

The current GS System disks are available from many sources. (See info at
http://home.swbell.net/rubywand/Csa2APPLICS.html#018 .) However, you do not
need to boot the current version of IIgs System to use your II gs. Quite a few
good utilities, games, and other kinds of programs are available on disks which
boot ProDOS or DOS 3.3.

You can find out more about your IIgs in the newsgroup FAQs at
http://home.swbell.net/rubywand/A2FAQs5MAINHALL.html#013 .

Okay; I'll email a copy. Even so, to have the best chance of getting the
most help, you are probably better off discussing this in the open on the
newsgroup.
