Re: ProDOS...

Well, I could revive my old AEOS(Apple Extended OS)project and GPL it.

Note: This is one of the few cases where I consider the GPL appropriate.

AEOS was an idea to have a keyboard or mouse driven DHGR GUI interface with
what amounted to cooperative multitasking. The cooperation was virtually
ensured by requests to draw to the screen and key fetches. Screen draw
requests were required since the running program may actually be in aux
page2+. The only problem with this OS was that it required a 256K enhanced
IIe or better. That memory requirement was too steep for most of the users
that I knew so I dropped the project.

Specs:

GUI Design
Cooperative multitasking
Virtual(Swap) Memory
ProDOS File System
Loadable Drivers

Requires-
    IIe enhanced (or equivalent)
    256KB RAM
    10MB HDD

Recommended-
    1MB RAM
    Mouse
    20+MB HDD
    Zip (or other) Accellerator
    Clock card

Should I revive the project? Unfortuntely I lost the original source code to
the almost completed OS 12 years ago, but I still remember it's design quite
well. Let me know.
