Well, it sounds like an interesting test. I'm not sure how you plan to
write the file to disk though since the partitions are a low level disk
construct. I am curious to see if you have any success. It's too bad you
don't have access to a PC scsi card which you could connect the HD to.
Even the old 8 bit interface would work. Then you could let Linux/Kegs
take care of things for you.

Was there a conventional Apple II scsi method for anything? I never got
into the scsi stuff till much later but from all I read, there was never
a standard in this area.
