Intelligent people can disagree. If we could remain civil to one another
most of our problems here would disappear. We've made great strides at
this but have back sliden a bit as of late.

Understandable. It seems a lot of people have been doing that lately.

Are we bigoted or just in disagreement? I would strongly urge everyone
to respect copyrights. I wish no ill towards people who ignore them but
as a creator am strongly disinclined to share my works with such people.

I'd take another look. Most of the regular posters of 5 years ago no
longer remain with us. :(

I don't know about equal but I agree that there's still a bit of life in
the CBM scene. Be aware of the company you keep though. Maurice Randal
(spelling?), the most prolific developer of the english speaking CBM
community released an impressive fax program for Geos a couple years ago
and witnessed it appear on pirate sites almost immediately. When Maurice
complained about this he was openly flamed on comp.sys.cbm! How's that
for gratitude?

I'll say.

Survival of the fittest perhaps? Eat or be eaten. Once all their
developers are consumed the CBM folk will be hungry. I'd suggest not
turning your back on some of them.
