Breakthrough: Internal Fan for IIC or IIC+

                 INTERNAL FAN FOR IIC OR IIC PLUS!
                 =================================

	I've got 11 IIC's and four IIC Plus's. They sound unnaturally
quiet without an internal cooling fan. Steven Job's obsession against
fans is unreasonable. With a memory board, the IIC/IIC+ can get
overheated.

	I tried to install a IIGS SUPER FAN --- too thick at 1" thick.
But I bought a junked IBM at a flea market, salvaged the mioni fan that
cools the 486 CPU, and installed it in my flagship IIC+. Connected the
12v DC leads to the fingers at the left-front edge of the motherboard, and
installed the fan with silicon caukling near the power supply.

	IT WORKS GREAT! Am now ordering a dozen similar fans from
All-Electronics to fit the "Buggie fleet" of IIC/IIC+ each with an
internal fan. Might even try a fan-speed mini-pot to adjust it to an
optimum level. When I receive the fans from All-Electronics, if they work
as fine as the salvaged fan, I will announce info for others. Long live
the internal IIC/IIC+ fan! Steve Buggie
