Unix shells mostly use the VT-100 emulation.
When it comes to downloading files (with the rz -e command if I recall
correct), you might have to set the correct modem string. I remember
fooling around quite a bit trying to get a descent string & working
downloads without errors.
After that, it worked flawlesly!
