Hi Jay, I'm sorry about the delay.
Yes, by ADU I was referring to Advanced Disk Utilities. I've never used
the HS-SCSI utilities. I was recommended Chinook and ADU over the
HS-SCSI utilities when I got my hard drive a couple of years ago.
Chinook is an excellent 8bit program for setting up prodos partitions.
ADU is a IIgs program that'll allow you to create prodos and HFS
partitions with a GUI.
I don't know if Chinook is public domain or freeware but it is freely
available from Alltech's website (www.allelec.com/apple2sw.htm). ADU is
freeware if taken from the System 6.0.1 disks available on Apple's FTP
site.
