It does. Even with DMA disabled (it wasn't compatible with the 10-MHz
RocketChip I used to have), the rev. C RamFAST was much faster than the
Apple High-Speed SCSI Card when accessing really large files (such as the
GEnie file indexes I used back in the day). Even today, I still use mostly
8-bit stuff on the GS...never got around to forking over the (often
substantial) $$$ for newer software.
