    Unfortunately, this is a project that can't exactly be done by a single
person. I didn't, and still don't, see that as an obstacle. As it stands,
there are enough 'pre-orders' that  we will make all the minimum purchase
quantities but one. I was only trying to let people know that if we work
together, it will happen. $200, or even $150 is price gouging by any
definition I know of. If others are satisfied with this, good for them.
Personally, I always love trying to ordering stuff from europe. As both an
acorn and amiga enthusiast, let me assure you, I know quite well how fun
that can be. Those who continue to scream "put up or shut up" can suck my
cock. I didn't start the bashing, I probably can't end it, but in the mean
time I will make it perfectly clear that the slimy little subhumans that
have nothing better to do than try to tear me down, before I've even built
anything up yet, are the scum of the earth. He was obviously talking out of
his ass, at least it was obvious to me, but others may not realize that the
'economies of volume' that he speaks of are much lower than you would
expect. You don't need to do 10,000 at once, we will make it with the 30
pre-orders we have already. I have made no less than fifty phone calls since
the start of this, I've spent over 100 hours of my time already researching
parts and prices just to make this work. I am far from done. I even help
with the hardware design as much as I can, though I'm still a bit unsure
whether I'm more in the way or actually being productive. Before this is
over, I will have individually  packaged every kit, and mailed it off to
everyone AT COST. I am trying to be as helpful and generous as I know how
to,and it irks me to no end that a vulture, no, make that two vultures have
already shown up, before I've even croaked. I am withholding judgement on
you Roy, simply because at least you were civil. If you want to criticize,
do so constructively. Make fun of how slow we are going, or how our design
isn't as good as SSH. Insist I prove that we've made progress, or that I'm
not out to rip someone off. But leave the rest of the juvenile crap to these
other vultures, so that I don't accidentally hit you while I'm beating them
off with the stick.

For God's sake, this may be the first time that the Apple2 community has had
a chance to become independent of those hardware makers that are abandoning
us. PLEASE, don't screw this up.
