To Mike Sprugeon:

Try removing the two pin jumper block from location J19 on the logic
board. J19 is located on the right hand side of the PDS expansion slot on
your Quadra 605's motherboard (a.k.a. logic board). It's between the
expansion slot and the PRAM lithium battery holder.

Then try using the IIe card.
