Re: Reclassification - Babbling Lunacy continues
Hiya, Rosy...
*>> At least you'd have to provide more evidence that

*> ....
*> You can check the Deja archives of Csa2 for early
1997. A
*>search for
*>"Word Perfect" should get you into relevant threads.
Well, that would get the posts of Tom's screwup, but
hardly establishes his responsibility for getting
reclassification of software started again. ;)
*>> Uh.. Yeah. After he had posted it and claimed to

Hmmm... let's see if he's so open with the latest
setback concerning Empire and the Eduware.
How history repeats itself. :P

I'll look.

Yet the sites remain? Hardly a conclusion, Rosy..

Hardly an accurate enough count to make the proclamation
that the majority of Apple II community loves piracy.
;)
Shall we just say.. Lots?

Hmm... I've seen new faces on the vogon side as well..
Perhaps you have selective vision?

No... Broad assertions backed up by nothing. ;)

*> Feel free to snicker at Dig Dug. You can also

Yikes! That's almost as bad as Pules.. Blah, blah's..
;)
You DO understand the difference between something
necessary, and a "wish for access to", don't you? I
think you're evading the issue.. again.
*>And, these are just 'action games'. Other large

And the "necessity" behind providing these illegally?
Besides simple desire to get something for nothing?
I'll bet you evade this issue too. ;)
*>> They can and will expand, that's agreed.
*> ....
*> Good.
Dang.. You snipped my growing mold and mildew analogy...
I liked that one too. ;)
But I'm not surpised you'd do that.
*>>
*>> That just means some poor pirate sap will lose his
cable

*> Maybe not. A recent court decision against
holding an ISP
*>responsible
*>for content of sites it hosts has the effect of
making many 'Terms
*>of Usage'
*>restrictions much less attractive. ISP's which insist
upon strict
*>terms and
*>hair-trigger enforcement will not be able to compete.
Well, as we've found with court decisions on the
"Shrinkwrap Agreements" they can conflict and have yet
to be settled. I am unaware of this court decision an
at what level it occurred at, but it probably wasn't in
Canada, where the latest pirate site is located. That
poor bozo man not be as secure as he thinks. ;)
*>> I'll do my best to
*>> throw hand grenades down their shorts. ;)
*> You may need for-real grenades. For instance,
free site space
*>ISP's are
*>starting to realize that a rep for scrapping sites
upon getting
*>just any kind
*>of complaint leaves them hosting "My Picture Book"
pages with
*>zilch for
*>traffic and zilch for banner advertising revenues.
So... It's Pirate Sites and Porn to make a Profit? You
really refuse to take the ethical side of the argument,
don't you? ;)

Cool! And it's removable and suitable for knocking
noggin's too... ;)
