Unfortunatly for you, the 3.5 and 5.25 drives never really have matched.
They have always been different like that. They did make a white 5.25 drive for
the //c that matched the design of the //c though. Matches much more closely
than the gray (platinum) cased one you have now. Can't remember if the 5.25
//c drive came in anything but white. It may have had different colored doors
(latch) in beige or platinum. So find the original //c drive, and a 3.5 drive
that closely matches, and it'll be close.
Apple did make a 5.25 that matched the 3.5 drive, but it was for the PC drive
card.
