Re: Need help on dumping System 7.5.3 disk images to Mac LC from PC.
As I recall, I used Transmac http://www.asy.com/sharetm.htm to copy
MacBinary files onto Mac formatted disks from my PC. The first file appear
on the Mac formatted disk as an SMI file (Self Mounting Image) and the rest
as PART files (Disk Copy images) so you need Disk Copy.
Read
http://asu.info.apple.com/swupdates.nsf/artnum/n1004
Then, all 19 disks are copied to a folder on the Mac, forming a
self-extracting archive.
Double-click on the SMI file, then run the install, and away you go!!
