I've seen alot of threads where people want to interface parallel
devices to their Apple II's parallel card, and the answer is usually
"NO, that device needs a bi-directional parallel card, and there aren't
many available for the Apple II".

I have about 6 Apple Inc. Parallel cards.  They are bi-directional.
Aren't the Apple cards pretty common?
