Do you know how much Apple II software would have to be involved to reach the
minimum amount recognizable under the current copyright laws for the
authorities to act? More than you and I, collectively, have in our possession.
The copyright law is primarily in place to protect the developers of business
software. If you want to bring an action against someone stealing a copy of
your newsgroup reader you will have to take civil action as the FBI will laugh
at you as will any local law enforcement agency... Canadian brain freeze must
be hell! ;)
