Re: IIc booting help, please



The 2c can be considered a whole different computer in many
ways. The GS 8 bit mode is closer to the 2c in reality. As
mentioned by Jay, the simplest monitor to use is a television
or other composite monitor.

As for disks. The earlier models used a 5.25 140k formatted
floppy disk. It can run both Dos and Prodos. In fact it (mine)
can run 95%+ of all 8 bit Apple II software. Forget the images
at Apple Inc. what you need is a ProDos system disk. There are
images at several different sites. I suggest however, you
check with Byteworks for an original copy and lots of other
neat stuff.
