Re: The Apple II Mail Group

Has anyone noticed that at the end of the MG is a copywrite notice.
Having submitted articles to scientific journals and magazines whether I
got paid or not, my articles are copyrighted by the publisher. Control
of of my submission belongs to the copyright holder.

What Bev has been consistent about is staying in control of her
publications. When postings go out on the web like down from a goose down
pillow, there is no getting it back. It has to caught right at the
opening. It's also clear that copyright laws were not created with the
internet in mind. It's a weakness that will have to be addressed.

Also Bev requires names and email addresses. No anonymous posters allowed.
No flaming. And if the MG gets posted outside the group that means more
opportunity for spam to get back to me. I don't want my stuff posted
outside either unless asked.
