IIGS & MAC Monitor compatibility

I am trying to transfer my files via a MAC Centris 650. I bought a MAC
monitor cable to connect to my AppleColor RGB Monitor. Is this monitor
compatible with the Centris, because it is not displaying a picture. I
would really like to use my MAC to transfer my ROMS to the IIGS so any help
is appreciated.
