I think the hardware will still work, certainly the emulators will, when the
last vogon kicks the bucket.  This seems  to be a uniquely A2 thing; there
are vast archives of C64 programs, for example, yet so far as I know, there
are no C64 vogons having hissy fits over the "pirating" of software for that
extinct platform.

I can't say I'll miss the vogons much.  I greatly doubt there'll be any
vogons among the MP3 generation!
